Recapturing Old Times
Haven't managed to scan and post our honeymoon pics yet, but promise to do so as soon as I can. Meanwhile, just had a surprise visit from my jet-setting buddy Rony Fortich this weekend, and promptly made a date to meet up together with another long-lost musical pal of mine, Lana Jalosjos, for lunch at Shang today. Our favorite Filipino culinary spot on the 5th floor, C2, was the logical choice, although we skipped the requisite Bibingka Souffle today on account of the fact that erstwhile dessert-fiend Lana needs to fast for 3 days. Yes, fast. Sigh. But dessert or no dessert, we still had a blast, nevertheless (did I actually just say that, Lans?)--just picking up from where we left off, as always. Such is the blessing of true friends. Stories, gossip, sharing of photos, past disappointments, hopeful dreams and wonderful memories over steaming Pinoy food--what more could one ask of a perfect Monday afternoon?

Here we are all over the 5th floor of Shang Mall, trying to find sufficient lighting for my struggling 1.3 megapixels, and finding it near the Dimsum & Dumplings cart, as well as in the spankingly new Debenhams store on the 3rd floor.....priceless moments indeed.

    oh yes...and especially these two "old" friends, who keep looking better and better each time i see them. shared a lot of great times with these two, and can only hope to continue that even if we've followed completely different paths and live so far from each other! *sob*

    anyway, there's more pics in my fone. the reason we took so many was that none of them looked right on my tiny screen (except one), so we kept clicking away. then it turns out, all of them look great! But it was a fun day. hope to do this again soon, guys! even if i have to fly all the way to HK to do it! haha...

    I love the pictures! ALL OF THEM HAVE GREAT LIGHTING. But I especially like the shot of the three of us in the upper left hand corner.

    Like Princess, you were one of my first theater friends. I still remember us eating in ATC with Mira when I was the newbie to Playshop Alabang or all the rides home. Who would've thought years later...

    You texted me before about how you wish we could do a show together again. "Or just eat out" Here's to more impromptu "eating out." He he!
